1912:    George Mahan began a practice of architecture in Memphis which evolved into Coleman Foster Architects as the years progressed.

1958:    Francis Gassner and Thomas Nathan began a practice of architecture which evolved into Nathan Evans Taylor.

1995:    The two historic firms joined to become Nathan Evans Taylor Coleman Foster.

2003:    Nathan Evans Taylor Coleman Foster became Evans Taylor Foster Childress Architects.

March 2012:    Evans Taylor Foster Childress will celebrate 100 years of continuous practice.
